Milen “shans” Valchev began his journey in game development on December 2, 2023, with a bold vision and relentless determination to create something extraordinary.
By March 2024, Secret Mechanism was officially registered, marking the start of its journey as a game development company.
Over the past year, Milen has gained invaluable experience, navigating the complexities of game design, team management, and project coordination.
Starting with no budget and relying on a revenue-sharing model, he successfully built a team of over 35 members at its peak, before streamlining the studio to focus on efficiency and quality with a dedicated team of 20 professionals.
Under his leadership, the team is currently managing two ambitious projects, with the second one in early development stages.
Throughout this time, Milen has faced and overcome numerous challenges, from finding the right talent to rebuilding after setbacks, including restructuring the team and refining the company’s approach.
These experiences have sharpened his skills in leadership, problem solving, and project management.
By balancing a demanding schedule and maintaining unwavering dedication, Milen continues to shape Secret Mechanism into a studio.
